ABOUT ME

Angie Wheatley

A Singaporean mother of 3, I have cooked for my family for 4 decades. When I first began cooking I was not  very good  at it. Through trial and error and advice from more experienced cooks, I have refined my skills. 

 

     I come from a Eurasian family. My Father was born in Singapore during the war, while my mother was born in the Portuguese Settlement in Malacca. My brother and sisters and I were born and raised in Singapore during the early years of her independence. 

 

    My cooking has grown over the years to incorporate aspects of the many other cultures in Singapore and around the world.

     In this blog you will find a collection of very good kitchen tested recipes that you may want to try.

     Some are my own creations, some are Eurasian classics handed down through the generations and some are other recipes gathered from friends and other places.
